Hurricane Preparedness Workshop Hurricane season is June-October along all coastal areas. Galveston plans in advance, and so do we! Della, K9 Leisure Consultant, attended the Island’s community  hurricane preparedness planning  workshop in July, 2014 and July 2015. Very educational and an opportunity to meet with Galveston officials who want us all to be prepared.
